Live Map
The Live Map shows all active pilots in the JetCard community in real time. It’s a shared-world view — every pilot on an active charter appears here.
Map View
A dark-themed global map displays pilot positions with:
- Route arcs — great-circle lines from departure to arrival. A solid line shows the portion already flown, a dashed line shows the remaining route
- Aircraft markers — rotated to the pilot’s current heading. Your own aircraft appears larger and in gold; other pilots appear smaller and in blue
- Airborne vs ground — airborne pilots have brighter, more opaque arcs. Pilots on the ground (taxi, boarding) show dimmer arcs
The map auto-refreshes every 10 seconds.
Header Stats
The page header displays:
- Total active pilots
- How many are airborne vs on the ground
- Last update timestamp
Pilot Details
Hover over any aircraft marker to see a tooltip with:
- Pilot name and operator/company
- Route (DEP → ARR)
- Tail number and aircraft type
- Current status — altitude, speed, and distance remaining if airborne, or flight phase if on the ground
Click a marker to open a detail panel at the bottom showing the full route display, pilot name, operator, tail number, aircraft type, total distance, and flight progress.
Visibility
Only pilots with an active sim connection appear on the map. If a pilot’s simulator hasn’t reported data in the last 60 seconds, their marker is removed until the sim reconnects.
