jPhone

The jPhone is a virtual smartphone embedded in the lower-right corner of the app. It replicates the communication channels a real Part 135 crew uses — dispatchers, FBOs, clients, co-pilots, brokers, and bankers.

Overview

The jPhone is always visible when you have an active charter. Click the grid icon to expand it, click again to collapse. It features a dark iOS-inspired UI with a “JetNet” carrier badge and a status bar.

Apps

Messages

iMessage-style threaded conversations with all your contacts. Quick reply buttons appear at the bottom of each thread with context-appropriate responses. You can also initiate new conversations via the dial pad or Contacts app.

In the base version, messages follow trigger-based templates tied to flight phases and financial events. With JetCard Live, every message is dynamically generated in context — your dispatcher might comment on weather, your co-pilot might reference your last landing, and your client rep might mention why they’re traveling.

Calls

Voice calls with your contacts. Each call opens a call screen with a live transcript and phase-aware response buttons (e.g. “Ready to push”, “Request fuel”, “Thanks, good flight”).

In the base version, calls play from a library of hundreds of pre-recorded voice lines performed by professional voice actors, covering every phase of flight. With JetCard Live, calls become real-time AI conversations — same characters, but they respond to what you actually say.

Contacts

iOS-style contact directory organized by category:

FBO

Ground service request interface. Request fuel, GPU, catering, boarding, ground transport, lav service, hangar space, or de-icing. Requests are confirmed automatically after a short delay, and the same services can be requested via text or call.

Weather

Quick weather lookup for departure and arrival airports.

Bank, Market, Company

Pocket versions of the main Bank, Aircraft Market, and Company pages — view balances, browse aircraft, and manage operator applications from your phone.

Co-Pilot System

Each charter assigns you a first officer from a roster of 12 pilots, each with their own backstory and personality. They’re region-aware — US-based flights get American FOs, European routes get British FOs, and Pacific routes get Australian FOs. Your co-pilot:

  • Texts you during pre-flight and post-flight phases
  • Can be delegated ground coordination tasks (fuel, catering, etc.)
  • Appears on your Briefing tab with name and phone number

In the base version, co-pilot messages are scripted and phase-triggered. With JetCard Live, your FO becomes a conversational character who remembers context and responds naturally.

Banker Triggers

Your banker contacts you automatically based on your financial state:

  • Payment due — reminder when a loan or lease payment is due within 48 hours
  • Missed payment — warning when you’ve missed a payment, escalating with consecutive misses
  • Refinance offer — when your reputation qualifies you for a better interest rate
  • Payoff congratulations — when a loan or lease is fully paid

Messages come from the specific banker who holds your debt, identified by their name and institution. These triggers work identically in both the base version and JetCard Live — the difference is that Live generates the message language dynamically rather than selecting from templates.

FBO Service Requests

All three channels (Messages, Calls, FBO app) write to the same service request system. Request fuel via text and it shows as confirmed in the FBO app. Services available depend on whether you’re at the departure or arrival airport:

Departure: Fuel, GPU, Catering, Boarding

Arrival: PAX Transport, Crew Car, Fuel, Lav Service, Hangar

Base Version vs JetCard Live

The jPhone works fully out of the box. Every feature on this page — messages, calls, FBO requests, banker triggers, co-pilot coordination — functions in the base version with pre-recorded audio and scripted text. Nothing is locked behind JetCard Live.

What Live adds is depth: AI-generated dialogue, real-time voice calls, voice input, and context-aware conversations. The characters are the same, the systems are the same — the conversations just stop being on rails. See the JetCard Live page for the full breakdown.
